sustainable ophthalmology
Since September 2020 I contribute to the sustainable ophthalmology project group. The group, led by Redmer van Leeuwen and Sjoerd Elferink, aims to develop the best practices in ophthalmic practice. This is needed because the ecological footprint is too big. Sustainability is needed.
It is fun, useful and educational to be part of this group that creates new goals and tools by online meetings every month. Medication use, procedure trays, best practices for treatments such as intravitreal injections, use of disposables, etc. are considered. It is pleasant to contribute a tiny bit to this global issue.
I designed the logo for this project group by using colors referring to nature, ocean and air. In the background my POP ART photo.
